The Growth Co Limited, trading as Growth Co-op (“we”, “us”), handles personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
This statement explains how we handle personal information through our website and business activities.
Depending on your relationship with us, we may handle:
Your name, business contact details and information you provide through enquiries or correspondence.
Information needed to deliver our services and manage client, supplier and business relationships.
Client customer and lead information that we are authorised to access through client systems or advertising platforms, including HubSpot and Meta.
Technical and website usage information collected through Google and Meta tracking technologies.
We collect information directly from you, through website technologies, and from clients or other authorised sources in connection with our services.
Providing information directly to us is generally voluntary, but we may be unable to respond to an enquiry or provide a service without the relevant details.
We use personal information where reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, deliver and administer our services, manage business relationships, understand website use, measure marketing activity, maintain security and meet legal obligations.
When handling customer or lead information on a client’s behalf, we use it for the agreed services and in accordance with the client’s authorised instructions. Access to a client’s system does not permit us to reuse its customer information for our own marketing.
We do not currently maintain an email marketing mailing list.
Our website uses Google and Meta tracking technologies. These can collect information about your device, browser and interactions with our website for analytics and marketing measurement. Information collected through these technologies may be received and processed by Google and Meta.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and advertising preferences through the relevant provider’s settings. Blocking cookies may affect some website functions and may not prevent every type of tracking.

We use service providers, including Google Workspace, to support activities such as email, document storage and collaboration. We may share information with providers, professional advisers and others where necessary for an authorised business purpose or where permitted or required by law.
We use ChatGPT and Claude as business tools, but do not enter identifiable client or lead information into them.
Our service providers may store or process information outside New Zealand. Authorised team members may also access information while temporarily working overseas, including in Europe or Japan.
We take reasonable steps to protect information handled overseas and assess any applicable legal and contractual requirements before introducing new overseas access or sharing arrangements.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration.
We retain information only for as long as needed for a lawful purpose, including delivering services and meeting contractual, accounting or legal requirements. At the end of a client engagement, we review the information we hold and delete unnecessary copies. Any information retained in an archive remains subject to access controls and periodic review.
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If your request concerns information we handle on a client’s behalf, we will coordinate with the client as appropriate.
